Are Immigrants New Fertile Ground for Military Service?

As we (The People) discuss immigration we can think of some things that we can maximize as a nation to expand out any benefits. (There are many ways to look at this and it can go down a rabbit hole of debate, i.e. legal vs. illegal, etc. but it is one possible solution that can be explored. There are likely many others.).  At present recruitment environment nationally is room temperature and is becoming challenging for some branches (including some institutions.). Finding a number of solutions can help in improving (There are lots of solutions and many times multiple work best together.).
What is an available resource that might be interested........Immigrants are one among a number.
This study highlights the value immigrants can make to the military. If you can find out of that pool willing, able, and capable members that want to join then that could one reasonable tool in the tool box of solutions .Nature of Conflict and Citizenship or read a synopsis in Defense One Immigrants and Military Recruitment
Highlights:
-60% of Americans would volunteer to serve with immigrants 30% more likely.
background, self-identity, religious beliefs, feelings of national pride.
-Changing demographics
-Immigrants civic minded and oriented toward public service.
The point of the article isn't to force a conclusion but simiply think of one path to explore for solutions. So an idea perculates somewhere then that is enough. I'm a supporter of our military because they teach values that many people are likely to get anywhere else (A few insitutions can teach values). It is also a pathway of development for those who did not come with trust funds. New leaders for a diverse new generation (Each generation has their own challenges and thus different skills will be needed for different times. The military develops leaders.).
I liked this motivational video because it highlights some of the values they teach in one branch (USMC). Each has a value set.
