ESCANABA, MI.-The OECD Economic Outlook offers some encouraging signs. Global economic growth is projected at about 2.9% in 2026 and 3% in 2027, while U.S. growth is expected to reach about 2.2%.

Inflation remains a concern, but continued investment in artificial intelligence and other technologies appears to be supporting economic activity. As businesses update technology and invest in productivity, these changes may continue to influence growth and create new opportunities across the economy.
