Fitness is more than spending hours in the gym and many of us would benefit about thinking about what we eat to achieve our goals. Obesity and diabetes is continuing to rise and much of that is related to what we put in our mouths in terms of processed fatty foods. Similarly, if we learn to cook research has shown that food quality rises and weight declines.
Beyond the processed nature of food we should consider protein, fiber and other nutrients. I made this homemade beef and potato sausage from scratch. Next 140 calories and 8g protein. All natural and I can up the protein if needed. Yep I have a touch of farm boy in me. I can make thinner beef hot dogs with no junk, turkey and vegetable sausage, egg and cheese sausage, etc.
I'm a certified trainer so if you need any help with fitness training and a nutrition plan let me know.
