Victims of hate should have rights and that would be healthy for a society seeking the higher states of justice. Violating rights and forcing the victims to accept 2nd class citizenship would be a sign of something more seriously awry. We are exploring through a hypothetical thought experiment for learning purposes what a justice default and dehumanization looks like in the modern world. We explore so we can learn how best to create resilience as a society.
(I really know no other way and wish I did. Being a descent person can come with lots of risks to everything. It's not the way it should be and hopefully someday we can resolve those issues.).
In this example the justice system defaulted because of deep seated hatred and bigotries among closely affiliated clan members. Victims were dehumanized and perpetrators emulated. Whistleblowers retaliated against, and people anipuated to ensure the outcomes were beneficial for certain people (It is the way it is sometimes). Some of those people have a history of manipulating and lying.
We discuss to understand and through that understanding we can create better protections in alignment with our professed oaths and social contracts. We should learn from good and reject the values of the bad. No matter your role we all have a responsibility to stand for what we believe in as a people (It takes courage and integrity to stand for a bigger principle against powerful winds.)
We can learn from hypothetical examples like this of how things sometimes work when there is a lack of commitment to a higher moral calling. We owe it to our founding and fathers/mothers to grow/adjust and if we can't we need the best and brightest to come of age and take positions of authority to ensure truth and justice are preserved (It's a natural cycle the founders of democracy understood that new generations will realign with their knowledge and skills to keep the bigger system adjusting and changing and twisting to its highest state.).
Supporting good and strengthening our commitment to something we all benefit from is important to the next generation and our futures. We have before us two futures of one which will lead to a universalism of human value and the other to a backsliding declining idea that was abandoned for today's reward. I opt for building on our strengths.
(Earlier today I had a discussion with someone on values and we discussed why values might be declining and we both agreed that media sometimes highlights bad but at the same time we are socializing people to the bad through not enough good stories and promoting sometimes the worst of character to higher positions.)
Values are essential to our society and I do have some concerns that we are not emphasizing those values within our reward and social structures as much as possible. If you have seen enough "ugly" in your lifetime it will change you as a person. It will make you see values as fundamental to our very existence. While I understand why some people misuse their positions and why they might have bias based on false imagery or social connections I cannot understand why they don't correct when they discover it. We are a people who should be judged by our values; they should be judged by theirs (At least if justice and liberty will shine brightly enough to be our guide.).
A word of advice for the young..learn about our history, obtain education or trades, develop yourself, read the Constitution, protect religious freedom, covet freedom of speech, and be the best version of yourself you can because your time to be in charge is coming. Draw values that we all share together and limit the influence of those with values that run counter to these social contracts. It will be your chance to put your positive stamp on a history that connects the past to the future and the future to the past through the power of the present (It's the cycle of life and youth do grow up with their own values based on their life challenges.).

I took this personal values test and wisdom, creativity, uniqueness, honesty, excellence were my top. While I can't vouch for the test I thought it was interesting.
*This is a thought experiment to chase down a line of logic for learning and exploring purposes. Take with a grain of salt.
