Día de Los Muertos in Old Town San Diego-Remember the Ancestors!
We should remember those that came before us becuse that is respect and asign of deeeper insight. When we pass most of us are forgotten in a generation or two. We have a hard time relating to people who had full lives very similar to our own with all of the joy, trials, challenges, and success that we may have experienced. You are today who you are because of all the prior lives that contributed tiny bits and pieces. Día de Los Muertos was celebrated in Old Town with parade, food, vendors, music and good fun. Thanks ancestors for all that you have done. We can only hope to live meaningful and purposeful lives to give honor to the people who came before (i.e. not wasting your life.)
