ProSocial Personality and Giving in Society (Good Living)

Giving says a lot about the people who donate their resources to those in need. Certainly money is a primary benchmark of one's success. Perhaps to have a full well rounded personality one might consider other benchmarks and that includes prosocial behaviors.

The article below discusses how giving frequency is often associated with spirituality/religiosity and integrity mildly associated with donation amount. Further manipulativeness and egotism negatively associated with giving amount. We can learn that perhaps being a descent and high functioning person does include the idea of charity and generosity.

I also found a charity that helps kids learn to read. I also have a few others I can point you to that range from first responders to orphans.
