The Hypothetical Feather Party Encourages Working Together on Top National Concerns

 Any problem can be resolved and any situation can be improved if we put our minds to it and start thinking about ways to resolve and thrive as a national community. Americans have something to say about their concerns and this is a good time to think about what they want (The average American and ultimate stakeholder that owns this country). The Hypothetical Feather Party encourages greater insight into the leading issues of the day and encourage other parties to focus their efforts in finding bi-partisan solutions that can help lead the nation overcome current challenges and put itself into the best strategic place for the future. 

A little FYI.... The Hypothetical Feather Party is for learning purposes as a thought experiment on what a substantial (i.e 15% support) third party might look like and how it could increase decision making through vote tipping (i.e. instead of 50/50 party split a third factor comes into consideration.). The goal might be to create a level of voting lubricant that ensures wider perspectives are included before making important decisions. It is for learning and discussion purposes.

The hypothetical example Feather Party values focus on making decisions through strategy, evidence, scientific support, ethical considerations around key founding universal principles that applies to all citizens equally. It uses over the horizon thinking so as to focus on the needs of the next diverse generation as primary in its concerns. American sentiment and needs are part of the process of decision making.

Why should we understand the average American's sentiment and needs? 

Some of the reasons why we want to understand sentiment and other beliefs is because it has an impact on our understanding and subsequent choices. While the political class has certain goals they should be within the general needs of all citizens beyond part affiliations. Economics and quality of life are the study of choice and businesses gain key knowledge about consumers and generational beliefs through understanding polls like this. Reading multiple polls, data, resources, research, etc. will give a better understanding of the environment (i.e. environmental scanning) and the best ways to serve the will of the people.

Through understanding and shared dialogue we can take into consideration the needs of many different people from varying walks of American life and understand their needs to help craft policy. One would want to take an earnest study in understanding their customer (i.e. ultimate stakeholder) and utilize social, political and other networks to find practical methods that can be implemented to address those concerns. 

To resolve issues like this we may need to brainstorm potential solutions from various sources/perspectives to ideate options, vet those ideas for practicality, and once the strongest options have been selected coordinate (bi partisan) to solve those problems. Its ok to be divergent in problem exploration but the most successful teams become coordinated to implement what is most likely to work. Its ok to think a little different because our nation needs the best and brightest to bring forward new ideas as long as they can be utilized practically. In other words, dream (Divergence of thought) but dream anchored in practicality and possibility (Covergence needed to implement) Think-Different Sometimes

As a side note, one of the reasons why we should protect freedom of speech as much as possible is to foster this divergence and the ability to voice concerns that dutiful politicians find workable solutions that seek to resolve for the widest application of people. This is why when we vote we should always vote beyond the superficial and into the leadership capacity of candidates (leadership in this instance including character, skill, knowledge, etc.). We all count on the outcomes so we make our choices collectively in a democracy.
