The other day I headed out early in the AM and hit some balls on the golf course. It was cool out and a just a touch of breeze. Perfect sweatshirt weather which is the best for golfing (Go to the UP in the fall and play golf and you will understand). None of my friends like to golf that early but sometimes that is the best time to go. Typically I like the short 9 hole courses because you can get in and out within an hour+. You don't need for or five hours to play and yet you can still satisfy the craving.
Technique: By focusing more on the consistency of swing in hips and stronger/stiffer arm I found I could control the shot. When I do it well it goes straight down the fairway. The distance is not my concern but accuracy is because when I lose strokes it is because of inaccuracy and not length.Benefits: Let me also say there are benefits to playing golf that many people don't think about. There are health, social, and business aspects to golf. (Me? I play with friends mostly). However, there are some studies and surveys that highlight the benefits of playing golf.
If you play golf there are some work-life benefits that could enhance stress management. Well Being of Golf Study
